25-year company anniversary for Kühne+Vogel Prozessautomatisierung Antriebstechnik GmbH: 25 years after the company was founded, 60 employees – mainly engineers, technicians and specialists – generate annual revenue of more than 10 million euros. Our major clients include many renowned companies from the paper, foil and cable industries.

EXTRUMATIC®IT expanded to include EXTRUMATIC® FactoryControl 

2008
Increased energy efficiency standards for manufacturing plants lead to the development of WebDrive+/Paper, the integrated platform for energy-efficient drive technology in the paper industry. 

2007
Activities in the cable industry expanded to include the development and delivery of turnkey extrusion plants as well as the development and construction of stranding machines. 

The EXTRUMATIC® program is expanded to include EXTRUMATIC®Turnkey and EXTRUMATIC®Stranding. 

2006
EXTRUMATIC® is further developed into EXTRUMATIC®IT. Scope of service for the paper industry introduced at ZellCheming Wiesbaden. Consistent and regular participation in the fair since then.

1999
Company activities for automation and drive technology as well as special-purpose mechanical engineering divided into two independent subsidiaries. From now on, Kühne+Vogel Prozessautomatisierung Antriebstechnik GmbH will combine all of the activities for automation and drive technology. 

First major projects implemented for the paper industry.

Start of development for the EXTRUMATIC® integrated automation system for all manufacturing areas in the wire and cable industry, based on SIMATIC S5

Company expanded to include Plant 2, Nuremberg: manufacturing precision tools for the cable industry

First major contracts for the wire and cable industry

1987
Kühne+Vogel GmbH founded by partners Walter Kühne, Reinhold Kühne, Dipl.-Ing., and Karlheinz Vogel, Dipl.-Ing. (FH). Main focus is on building systems for industrial automation and drive technology as well as planning and building special-purpose machines. Modern office and manufacturing building constructed and completed in the newly developed Industrial Park 2 in Roth.
